At the beginning of this month, GreenPaths organised a visioning workshop on the island of Cres, Croatia. Participants included not only project partners but also researchers and civil society representatives from across Europe.
The workshop aimed to explore what a just green transition for Europe could look like by 2050. The discussions were structured around six interconnected areas: mobility and urban infrastructure, industrial production and industrial policies, energy and climate, equality and social welfare, land use and food systems, and climate finance.
Shared visions were co-created at three levels: individual, local/community, and European. These were a few intense days of discussion, reflection and collaboration, but ultimately very fruitful.
The results will be presented through an academic poster currently being developed and will be shared soon.
