Initial Progress in the GreenPaths Project: Towards a Just and Green Transition
Within the framework of the GreenPaths Project, we’ve been dedicating considerable efforts to crafting a Discussion Paper that critically addresses the intersection between just transition, environmental sustainability, and social impacts. This document seeks to review, describe, and map the links between these crucial aspects for the future of our planet and society.
One of the standout features of this initial document has been the innovative use of infographics to illustrate and map different policy intervention areas in just transition, environmental sustainability, and social well-being. Alongside this post, we’re including one of these infographics to provide a glimpse into our work.
These infographics provide a clear and accessible visualisation of the complex interconnections between these issues, facilitating deeper understanding and informed decision-making.
The six key topics addressed in the infographics are:
- Energy and Climate
- Transport and Urban Infrastructure
- Food, Land Use and Agriculture
- Trade and Taxation
- Finances and Industrial production
- Welfare, Equality, Employment, Accessibility and Inclusion
This comprehensive coverage underscores the breadth and depth of our analysis. We’re excited about the potential impact this Discussion Paper can have on policy formulation, strategy development, and promoting a more sustainable and equitable future for all. We’ll continue working diligently within the GreenPaths Project framework to further advance this important work.
